Dedication: Your dedication and devotion to the department is vital to membership and advancement in our Department. Inactivity leads to removal and demotion from community assets and rank. (Note: Demotion and Removal from Division Certification is seen as a last result.)
Pride: Take pride in your position and your Department. If you wish to receive leadership and/or staff positioning, show your interest and work hard everyday towards what you want out of the LAPD. The only one holding you back is you. But, with promotions comes more expectations and required standards within the Department and Community.
Service: Remain active in Patrols and Community Operations. Be that member that is willing to patrol day or night and support your fellow members in operations.
Integrity: Remain professional, even when no one is looking. You should alway do the right thing in the department, which means become a Leader, not a Follower. Be that members who sets an example and remains professional, even when others don't.
